Yiddish Word of the Day
Zetz
Zetz
Pronunciation: ZEHTS
Definition: a punch, a strong blow, or a setback;
Example Sentence: Work today was a zetz I didn’t expect.
Some Fun Thoughts:
Sorry, it is so late today, folks. I had a work event early this morning and it just ended. What I should do is schedule these to go out ahead of time. It’s what my brother did and he was better at this than me. But I am who I am and I am tired.
Regardless, this is zetz *gestures to word.* It is a word to describe hitting someone over the head, telling someone they could have had a V8, or just getting hit by life. Schlimazels would get many zetz from people and life, indiscriminately.
Hope today wasn’t a zetz for you! See you tomorrow.
