A Schmaltzy Send-Off and a Hearty Hello!

Hello to our wonderful Daily Yiddish subscribers,

It's me, your friendly neighborhood Yiddish word-slinger. Alas, the time has come for a little shake-up in our Daily Yiddish family.

No need for the oy veys! It's all good news. You see, I'm handing over the reins of our daily dose of Yiddish to none other than my brother. That's right, it's staying in the family, because, let's face it, who else could make Yiddish sound so zesty at 8 AM? And boy, is he excited to bring you his brand of Yiddish wisdom and humor (though between us, I'm not sure his puns are as good as mine. But don't tell him I said that!).

He's been practicing his shtick, brushing up on his Yiddish history, and is ready to bring the chutzpah. Plus, he assures me that he's already working on a bissel of nudnik prevention, so you can rest easy knowing your inbox is in good hands.

So, while I may be taking my leave from the daily dispatches, remember, I'm still part of the mishpocha. You might just hear from me from time to time when my brother needs a break (or when I can't resist the urge to share a great Yiddish gem).

In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for your first Daily Yiddish from the new guy. It's going to be a real lark.

Remember, as we say in Yiddish, "nit alts iz gold vos glantst" - not all that glitters is gold, but with my brother's upcoming Yiddish wisdom, you're sure to strike linguistic gold each morning.

Until then, my friends, zayt gezunt!
